What are some of your experiences learning, building, or teaching on TBA?
I came to TBA not knowing a thing, through the past few months Rumble, Relsqui, Kyr, Justo and Shamra, I have learned a great deal. Welcor did help me with some coding. Couple months back I started to give what I learned back to people, recommending it to people I know and teaching people on the mud. That's why I am not on as much any more as I am putting what you people taught me to good use on other muds.

How long have you been working on or playing MUDs? How did you start?
Back in August /02, officialy started but tech. back in June /02.

What appeals to you about MUD building (coding, administrating . . .)?
Being an IMP, A builder, Newbie Helper and help file immortal. Also, the mud has to be catchy or i wont stay..

This is where Alec conducts all of his work to make his quests better. On
the wall are diplomas from several universitys. The is a large desk back a bit
from the doorway. There is a top of the line IBM computer there. Next to it
is a top of the line Laptop from DELL. On the screens of them are several
programs running theorys on how to make the quests Alec run, even better.
Behind the desk is a comfy leather chair. It makes this office look quite
professional. On the back end of the desk is a standard CD player. Alec
obviously likes listening to music as he works. The are windows looking out on
to the ocean. The are many boats sailing around there.

What are you working on right now?
Right now, im working on two rom muds as a builder but i am trying to start mud with my best friend (decay from tba) and co-own and imp it.

What advice would you give a less experienced builder or someone new to TBA?
Listen to what Relqui, Radiax, Rumble and Welcor have to say, they are really really good.

Describe a character you enjoy playing on any game, and why.
Magnus, I just like the name so I use it on most muds.

Anything else you want to say about yourself?
Alec is from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He started building on TBA back in August 2002. He has been there ever since. Although he doesn't log on currently, he still calls it his home and will continue logging on to TBA as long as he continues to MUD. -Alec
